Five Gardens!

Outside we have beautiful gardens and grounds; split into specific areas including the ‘Playground’, with the balance and climbing area, ‘The Paddock’, incorporating paths and bridges, ‘The Wild Garden’- complete with our ‘Mud Kitchen’, ‘The Secret Garden’, complete with our summerhouse and our separate outside classroom leading out from our Dragonflies’ Classroom. The areas provide both grassy and playground environments offering opportunities to run, roll, pedal, rock climb, balance, mark-make, scoot, chase, play games, explore and much, much more. In our ‘Secret Garden’ we also provide a classroom environment within the summer house, to enable effective additional inside/outside ‘freeflow’ opportunities.

Three Classrooms

‘BUMBLEBEES’ is home to children aged between 12 months and 2 years.

‘LADYBIRDS’ is home to children aged between 2-3 years

‘DRAGONFLIES’ provides a spacious and bright learning environment for children aged 3 years plus.

All children benefit from being able to use the whole provision, with each room offering something special for the children, including our

SENSORY ROOM

For calming, socialisation, stimulation, improved focus, motor skills development, cognitive development and sensory development.

Welcome to our website

Our ethos and way of learning provides a range of experiences that stimulates a child’s love of learning and natural discovery. With the right approach, children learn willingly and develop naturally.

It is hugely beneficial for children to have the opportunity to experience many different things, which is why they have exposure to different teaching methods and learning experiences.

Round and Round the Gardens offers your child a holistic journey through ‘traditional’ nursery teaching, along with elements of the Montessori Approach, Heuristic play, a home from home, family feel and much more!

For most children, coming to Round and Round the Gardens is the first experience of ‘life away from home’. Therefore, it is important that children are allowed to develop socially, emotionally, physically and creatively, as well as ‘academically’.
