Early Years Free Education
Early Years Free Education of 570 hours per year is provided for all 3 and 4 year olds at the setting.
Your child will be eligible the term after they turn 3 years old e.g.
September to December January to March
January to March April to August
April to August September to December
We are a full daycare nursery, therefore open for 51 weeks of the year. We stretch the free entitlement to all 51 weeks. This equates to 11 hours per week. This does mean the funding is diluted per week, but you will receive the full entitlement across the whole of the year.
We are open from 8am to 6pm every day and we allocate the funded hours as follows:
3 hours within the first session of the week
3 hours within the second session of the week
2.5 hours within the third session of the week
2.5 hours within the fourth session of the week
As our sessions are longer, therefore the additional hour/s will always be charged.
Free Early Eduction for Two Year Olds (FEET)
Free Early Education for Two Year Olds (FEET) of 570 hours is provided for eligible 2 year olds by the government.
There is specific criteria that families would need to meet to be eligible.
Please check on the Surrey County Council website for further details.
If your two year old is eligible (can provide a unique ID number), then we can provide FEET for your child, if sessions are available, the term after he/she turns 2 years old.
FEET sessions are 1pm to 5pm ONLY and for a maximum of two sessions per week at Round and Round the Gardens Childcare.
This equates to 8 hours of attendance (2 x afternoon sessions) per week, which is stretched across 51 weeks; at no cost.
Any additional sessions or hours requested are charged at our full prices.
